Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing of thermal spring water.
This area has been drawing visitors to its thermal springs since the time of classical antiquity. The Turkish name refers to the surface of the shimmering, snow-white limestone, shaped over millennia by calcite-rich springs.Dripping slowly down the mountainside, mineral-rich waters collect in and cascade down the mineral terraces, into pools below.
Activity description
Average pick-up times in the morning are 06:00 - 07:00, after picking up everyone, we set off, we go to Pamukkale for 3 hours. When we get there, the trip will start with a walk in Pamukkale nature park and then we will reach the ancient city of Hierapolis. Finally, we will visit the Cleopatra pool where you can swim in 36° thermal water. We will spend 3 hours in this area and the guide will explain all the historical details, then we go to the restaurant where we will have our lunch. A buffet will be opened for us and we will be able to eat from 20 kinds of varieties and of course we will eat what we want and as much as we want. At 19:00, we take a 3-hour drive to reach our hotels.
